| October 18, 2013 9:00 AM

BONNERS FERRY — Bryce Johnson completed 11 of 13 passes for 219 yards and two touchdowns and the visiting Tigers piled up 575 yards of total offense in the Intermountain League opener for both teams.

“We were pleased with the fact we had success throwing the football; we hadn’t had a lot of success with it,” Timberlake offensive coordinator Brian Kluss said. “We spent time this week on it in practice, and it paid off.”

Preston Rhodes caught four passes for 134 yards and a touchdown for Timberlake (4-2), and rushed for 71 yards on five carries. Josh Lampert rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns on four carries for the Tigers, who totaled 356 yards on the ground. Daniel Buck ran five times for 60 yards, Quinton Reese six carries for 35 yards.
