Girls VB disappointed on Senior Night

Senior night didn’t end with a win for the five seniors on the volleyball team. Clark Fork defeated Bonners Ferry on Oct. 15 in a five set match at home with scores of: 24-26, 25-17, 22-25, 25-11, 12-15.

“It was a disappointing loss not only for the last home match for the seniors, but I felt we are a far better team,” said coach Janis Tucker. “We struggled with communicating this match and on a 30 by 30 court communication is crucial.”

Jasmine Hill added eight kills and McKenzie MacDonald six kills. Emma Kelly contributed 27 assists and Jasmine Hill four ace serves. Desirae Minor added 21 digs and Malorie Stippich 13 digs. Camille Awbrey blocked six times.

The five seniors at senior night were Camille Awbrey, Makenzie Carle, Emma Kelly, McKenzie MacDonald and Desirae Minor.
