Coleen Marette “Pat” Robins, 82

Coleen Marette “Pat” Robins, 82, after a series of strokes, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, Aug. 30, 2013, in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Services will be held at the Mount Hall Community Church at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5.

A luncheon will be provided after the service by friends of the family, the ladies of the Mount Hall Church and her sisters in Christ from the Mountain Springs Church.

As was her desire; she died at home; her husband, all three children, several grandchildren, and even some great-grandchildren at her bedside.

Pat was born on Dec. 14, 1930, in Bemidji, Minn., to Roy and Lillian Estabrooks. On Dec. 10, 1949, Pat married the love of her life, Joseph Robins in Bemidji, Minn.

At 16, she wrote a song, both words and music, that was published and recorded and since then she wrote well over 300 songs.

She was an accomplished recording artist, published poet, extraordinary musician, ordained minister with the Assemblies of God; along with her husband Joseph, who also has been ordained with the Assemblies of God for more than 50 years. She ministered as a missionary and evangelist with Joseph in Guyana, South America for a time.

“GG” was a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Robins; sisters Waneita Robins, Ecco Nims and Val Harrington; son Steven Robins and daughter-in-law Linda; daughter Christine Gilbertson and son-in-law Daniel; and daughter Rebecca Huseby and son-in-law Thad, all of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and countless lives touched and changed by her testimony and example.
