Boundary County hosts Earth Day Fair

| April 11, 2014 9:00 AM

BONNERS FERRY —The Boundary County Fairgrounds will host the Earth Day Fair on Saturday, April 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This biennial event will build on the success of the three previous events to share new ideas, activities and practical information centering on the theme of reducing, reusing, repurposing, recycling and sustainability.

All the Fair activities are free and a wonderful family event.

There are additional activities throughout the weekend to celebrate Earth Day. On Friday, April 25 there will be a Barnyards and Bones Tour of Boundary County.

Catch a bus at the city parking Lot at noon to tour two local farms (alpacas, horses, lambs, and cows). Be the first group to visit the newly constructed Bone Museum, enjoying a unique bone and skeleton presentation featuring mammals from around the world.
