Appreciate vet's office

| April 18, 2014 9:00 AM

On Sunday evening, March 30, my wife and I were faced with a decision that I would not wish on anyone. Our 14 year old dog, who had been a member of our family since she was seven weeks old was in dire physical distress. Although we knew this day would come it did not make it any easier. We had to make the decision to put her down, as she was suffering greatly.

We knew it was after regular business hours, but we paged Dr. Roland Hall of the Bonners Ferry Veterinary Clinic. He called us back immediately and showed up at our house within 15 minutes. Dr. Hall was very kind, compassionate and understanding of the situation. He was very gentle and kind to our blue heeler and she passed peacefully in a place where she felt safe and comfortable.

It was a very emotional time for my wife and me. We later received a sympathy card from his office, signed by him and all of his staff. We wish to sincerely thank Dr. Hall and his staff for their kindness, compassion and professionalism. It made this very difficult time much easier.
