It sure has been a busy week for the Badger Softball team. With seven games in six days they earned a well-deserved day of rest on Sunday.

The week began with a home-opener against the hard hitting Libby Loggers April 7.

Senior MaKenzie Carle took the mound and accumulated four strikeouts in the 4-15 loss on Monday. Highlights of the day included doubles from Carle and Junior Mariah Rae while junior Zoe Zielinski went two for three on the day.

Tuesday brought Newport High School all the way from Washington for another beautiful day of softball. Freshman Nicole Donn worked for three strikeouts in the 8-7 win.
