Badger golf team gets in the swing with blustery meets

The Badger golf team attended an Intermountain League tournament hosted by Timberlake at Twin Lakes Village Golf Course Thursday, April 10.

Scores were: Mitchell Kramer 100, Zach McWilliams 105, Joe Franco 127, Owen Beazer 123, Tucker Dirks 119.

The Lake City Golf Invite was held at the CDA Public Golf Course Monday, April 14. The scores improved for the Badgers boys golf team, said coach Ralph Lotspeich, but it was against much tougher competition.

Scores were: Mitchell Kramer 91, Zach McWilliams 97, Tucker Dirks 101, Christopher English 110, Joe Franco 120. Team score with the highest score dropped was 399.

The April 17 IML tournament at Mirror Lake golf course in Bonners Ferry saw golfers braving North Idaho drizzle to finish 18 holes of golf.

Scores were: Mitchell Kramer 105, Zach McWilliams 101, Tucker Dirks 108, Christopher English 105, Joe Franco 114. Team score with the highest score dropped was 419.

Savannah Mendenhall finished with the second best Ladies individual score of 109.

The Badgers host Priest River for an IML dual today at 4 p.m. on the Mirror Lake golf course.
