Candidate forum Saturday

The Boundary County Middle School cafeteria will be the site of candidate forum at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Boundary County residents will have a chance to meet Russ Fulcher, one of three Republican primary challengers to C.L. “Butch” Otter’s bid for a third term as Governor of Idaho a day after Otter makes Bonners Ferry Capital for a day.

Other confirmed candidates who will be available at the forum include Jim Chmelik for Lieutenant Governor, a Republican primary challenger to incumbent Brad Little, Lawrence Denney, one of four Republicans on the primary ticket for Secretary of State, Todd Hatfield, Republican primary challenger to incumbent Brandon D. Woolf, Chris Troupis, Republicanprimary challenger to three-time Attorney General Lawrence Wasden and John Eynon, one of four Republicans looking to fill the spot left by retiring Superintendent Tom Luna.

State Senate candidates at the forum include Danielle Ahrens and Christian Fioravanti. State House of Representative candidates Steve Tanner, Laura Bry, Sage Dixon and Andrew Sorg have also confirmed attendance.
