Thank you to BF police for making town safe

We would like to compliment our police department in Bonners Ferry.

Because of their dedication, professionalism and pride in the services they provide, our city is now a safer environment for all who reside here.

The task force has made a huge dent in drug trafficking here and in Boundary County.

Schools are more safe for our children. Our officers are ever more diligent and determined to make them drug free zones. While this is a continuing battle, we will win this war.

Our officers need more help from us, however. They need more patrol vehicles, more public awareness and more individuals willing to support and assist by watching and being aware of circumstances in their own neighborhood. Perhaps neighborhood watch programs could be instituted.

In closing, we would like to say the Bonners Ferry is a beautiful place to live and be safe and happy. Let’s make an effort to keep it that way.
