Stephen Henry (Beebe/Lefebvre) Bolich, 68, passed away on July 3, 2014 at Bay View Nursing and Rehab Center in Alameda, Calif. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at 11 a.m. in the Pavilion at Grandview Cemetery in his home town of Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

He was born on Feb. 27, 1946, in Bonners Ferry to Irwin and Alma (Lefebvre) Beebe. He was raised by the Lefebvre family for his first nine years of life and later adopted by Mayson and Dorothy Bolich.Steve was raised predominantly in Bonner’s Ferry and Hayward, Calif. He graduated from Hayward High School in Hayward in 1964. After high school he followed in his father, Mayson’s footsteps as an electrical engineer manufacturing industrial control panels in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Steve married Katherine Impey in 1967 in Castro Valley, Calif. They were married for 28 years.In his youth, he enjoyed sailing competitively and was an accomplished Golden Gloves boxer. Steve was preceded in death by his birth parents, Irwin and Alma Beebe and adopted father, Mayson Bolich.

Steve is survived by his sons John, Zachary and Jason and daughter Kimberly who reside in the San Francisco Bay Area; his sister, Carol Nystrom of Vancouver, Wash.; his mother, Dorothy Bolich of Vancouver, Wash.,, and his grandchildren Max, Emmett, Robert, Paul and Alexandra.In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, Oakland, Calif.
