Ditler L. (Ditty) Lauritsen, 60

Ditler L. (Ditty) Lauritsen, 60, of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, was called home to Heaven on Feb. 14, 2014. He was formerly from Oakford, Penn. 

A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at Mountain Springs Church, 6789 Main St. Bonners Ferry at 11 a.m.

Ditty was born on Nov. 2, 1953, in Philadelphia and worked at Woolworth’s in Neshaminy Mall as a dishwasher for many, many years. He had so many friends and was loved by many. He moved to Bonners Ferry with his family in 2004 and loved it here.

He then moved to Ace Elder Care about two years ago and that was home to him. He loved the other residents and caretakers. He always had a joke and a smile. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his sisters, Dawn (Tee) Timmons of Bonners Ferry,  Dana (Ace) VanHeusden of Bonners Ferry, Rozanne (Charles) Pastorella of Langhorne, Penn., and a brother: David Lauritsen of Spokane, Wash., plus one niece and six nephews.
