BONNERS FERRY — A gun and pawn shop is back on Main Street in the exact same location as before.

Woody’s Gun and Pawn opened Saturday, Dec. 14 in the prior pawn shop location next to Bonners Books.

Kyle Watts worked at the original gun and pawn shop growing up and liked the industry.

With no pawn shop open in Bonners Ferry, he decided to get the pawn shop rolling again because he saw a large market for pawn services.

“We are excited about opening up,” said Watts, a 1996 BFHS graduate.

“We are locally owned and community orientated.”

He worked with Leroy Yoder at Cabinets Northwest and North Idaho Iron Works to furnish the store.

Watt’s wife, Joy, also helps at the store.

“We are a full gun and pawn service with selected merchandise,” said Watts. “We will loan money on anything that doesn’t eat.”

They have used items, antiques, ammunition, guns, jewelry, silver and gold.

Woody’s Gun and Pawn, named after Kyle’s son and grandpa, is open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Woody’s Gun and Pawn is located at 7197 Main St. and can be reached at 267-GUNS.
