Jack Turner, 79, went home, to be with his Lord, on Thursday, July 17, 2014, with his beloved wife Martha by his side in Naples, Idaho

A celebration of his life will be held at Bridgeway Assembly of God, 66027 Highway 2, Bonners Ferry, Idaho. The services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday July 26, 2014. Memorials may be made to Bridgeway Assembly of God, PO Box 119, Bonners Ferry, Idaho 83805 in memory of Jack Turner.

Jack was born on July 29, 1934, in Los Angeles, Calif., and proudly served with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.

He married Martha Williams on Nov. 4, 1955, in Torrance, Calif., and attended college in Porterville, Calif. He lived in Porterville for 26 years and worked for the city of Porterville road crew.

He moved to Naples, Idaho in 1996 and will be remembered as a long-time employee of Boundary County. He was a member of the Bridgeway Assembly of God in Bonners Ferry.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Martha Turner in Naples; his son, Scott Turner of Naples; his daughter, Marianne Hale of Bonners Ferry; and five grandsons and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Brown; and a son, Jack Steven Turner.

Jack was a loving husband, dad, granddad, and great-granddad.
