Local brewery wins Priest River event
<p>Iron Brewmaster Michael Naumann and Iron Sommelier Beth Giacomo show off their awards Feb. 22</p>
PRIEST RIVER – Michael Naumann of Bonners Ferry’s Kootenai River Brewing Company was crowned Iron Brewmaster at the first Iron Sommelier and Brewmaster event on Saturday, Feb. 22.
KRB emerged the victor over Sandpoint’s Laughing Dog Brewing and walked away with the title. The Iron Sommelier title went to Beth Giacomo of Vehrs in a race separated by a mere three votes from competing distributor Star Jensen of Idaho Wine Merchant.
