Spring sports begins

Bonners Ferry High School's spring sports season has kicked off.
The Badger baseball team opened its season against Orofino March 14 and 15.
They lost both games to the Maniacs.
The team's first home game of the season is Friday vs LV Rogers high school. The game starts at noon.
• The girls softball team barely lost its first game to the Lake City JV, 7-8 in the fifth inning.
The girls will play again on Tuesday, March 25 in a doubleheader at Sandpoint starting at 2 p.m.
• The track team has its first meet of the year will start 10 a.m. at home this Saturday, March 22.
