Steven K. Leslie, 62

Steven K. Leslie 62, aka Sasquatch, passed away Easter weekend in Delta Junction, Alaska.

He will return to Idaho later in May to be buried with his mom (Miriam Leslie).

Steve was the youngest child of Miriam and A.W. Leslie. He leaves behind his son Mike Leslie of Bonners Ferry and daughter Annaka Smith, (husband Jason) of Blanchard, Idaho, their three children, Cynthia, Blake and Nathan, and daughter Misty of Oregon.

He is survived by his wife Roseanne Hagen-Leslie, sisters Ruth Ann (Leslie) Wilson, Patricia (Buffin) Miles and Carol (Buffin) Townsend. Steve was preceded in death by his mother, father and brother, Eugene Buffin.

Steve will be remembered fondly by the guys who called Gene’s OK Tire their second home during break-up, loggers who appreciated a true “gypo” and each time there is a Bigfoot sighting in Bonners Ferry.
