Woman killed in Highway 2 crash

BONNERS FERRY — A Bonners Ferry woman was killed Wednesday after colliding with another motorist on U.S. Highway 2.
Idaho State Police said Keri L. Bodnar was stopped in the westbound lane waiting for traffic to clear so she could turn left into Sater’s Auction Services. Jennie L. Starr was also westbound and crashed her Subaru Legacy into the rear of Bodnar’s Cadillac de Ville, pushing the sedan across the eastbound lane and into the ditch.
Starr, 68, was fatally injured in the collision. She was not wearing a seat belt, state police said.
Bodnar, a 58-year-old from Moyie Springs, was not injured. She was wearing a seat belt, according to ISP.
