| May 16, 2014 9:44 AM

BONNERS FERRY — Don’t forget to get out and vote in Tuesday’s primary election on May 20.

The ballot includes local and state races, along with an $8 million library bond.

Polls are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you don’t know your poll location, contact the county clerk’s office.

Boundary County will elect commissioners for District 1 and 2; plus a clerk, treasurer, assessor and coroner.

The assessor and clerk’s seats, held by David Ryals and Glenda Poston respectively, are unopposed, as is the coroner’s race.

Incumbent LeAlan Pinkerton is being challenged by Jeannie Robinson for the Republican nomination for District 1 commission spot. Stanley “Phillip” Sweet is challenging Walt Kirby for the Republican nomination for the District 2 commission position.

Three people are seeking the Republican nomination for the treasurer’s job — Becky James, Scot Lindsay and Susan M. Larson.

On the state level, several positions are up for grabs.
