SUNDAY, MAY 25
• Badger Girls Basketball Development: 5-6:30 p.m. BFHS gym. Any girls with interest in Basketball is encouraged to attend.
MONDAY, MAY 26
• Memorial Day Parade: 10 a.m. start time. Veterans meet at Fairgrounds before the parade. Rides available for those who cannot walk. Memorial service at Grandview Cemetary following the parade. Sponsored by the American Legion, VFW and Disabled American Vets.
TUESDAY, MAY 27
• BFHS/BCMS Band Finale Concert: 7 p.m. BFHS Becker Auditorium. Grades 6-12, HS Jazz Band.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 28
• Football parent/player meeting: 6:30 p.m. BFHS gym. Any 2014-15 student grades 9-12 planning or thinking about playing football should attend. Contact Coach DePriest at 267-3149 for more info.
THURSDAY, MAY 29
• Idaho State Veteran Service Officer: 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. VFW Post 3622. Appointments must be scheduled no later than Tuesday May 27 by calling Micaela Sierra at 208-446-1096.
• Libby Dam Public Information meeting: 7 p.m. Kootenai River Inn.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 4
• KVRI Forestry Committee: 1:30 p.m. Kootenai Tribal Office. Deer Creek collaborative forest landscape restoration project. Anyone interested is invited to join to discuss how community interests can best be met while developing this project.

• Rod Benders Cruise: 5 p.m. starting at the city parking lot.
• Robert Michael Pyle book reading: 7:30 p.m. Bonners Books. Eminent lepidopterist (expert on butterflies), natural history essayist, and now poet, will be reading and discussing his many literary interests. The reading is free, and there will be minor refreshments.
SATURDAY, JUNE 7
• Borders Three Jamboree car show: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. downtown Bonners Ferry. Hosted by the Rod Benders Car Club. Check in at 8 a.m. for display cars.
• Lawnmower races: 6 p.m. fair grounds outdoor arena.

• Community Safety Day and Naples Community Yard Sale: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Schoolhouse road, Naples. See Life Flight helicopter and crew, talk to firefighters about wildfire safety, fire safety house and bounce house for kids, free blood pressure checks, CPR/first aid class and refreshments.
