Lady Badgers sweep Clark Fork

BONNERS FERRY —With three decisive wins, the Lady Badgers varsity volleyball team defeated Clark Fork 25-20, 25-12 and 25-13 to sweep the Wampus Cats Tuesday, Oct. 14 at home for a senior night match.

Jasmine Hill had 5 kills, 5 digs in the game, Malorie Stippich had 7 digs, Savannah Woods 16 assists and 3 aces and Miranda Wenk had 3 blocks and 3 aces.

The team celebrated seniors Jasmine Hill, Mackenzie Mendenhall, Amanda Wilson and Savannah Woods.

“These four girls are so enjoyable to coach and they work very hard to get the job done,” said coach Kendra Maas.

“This whole team makes every day so enjoyable, to walk into the gym knowing that they strive to better themselves and succeed in all the challenges that come our way. They respond well to what I ask to get the job done.”

The Lady Badgers face Kellogg on the road tonight to determine IML seeding. With a victory, they will host the IML league district games on Tuesday, Oct. 21 as the number one seed going into the tournament.
