Michael Ross McCall, 67, passed away after a long illness on Sept. 26, 2014, at the Boundary County hospital in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, at 1p.m. at the Boundary County Historical Museum in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Ross, as he was known, was born on April 14, 1947 in Owosso, Mich., to Leon and Pauline McCall. After time spent on the East Coast and in Port Townsend, Wash., he moved first to Troy, Mont., before relocating in Bonners Ferry, Idaho for the past 15 years.

Ross was an amazing artist throughout his life and often made his living drawing portraits.

He was also a well-known presence at local garage sales and thrift stores. He had, over a lifetime of interest, gathered a fine collection of antique firearms and Americana. At his request, these holdings have been donated to the Boundary County Historical Museum.
