Louie Abraham, 28

Louie Abraham, 28, passed away on Sept. 4, 2014, at Boundary Community Hospital as a result of an auto accident. A wake and services have been held.

Louie Abraham was born on Sept. 29, 1985, to Ronald and Margaret Abraham in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

He received his education in Boundary County, attending Valley View. Boundary County Middle School and Bonners Ferry High School.

Louie had a traveling bug that was always with him. He traveled with his parents from a young age visiting places such as Washington, D.C., Florida, Washington state, Oregon, California, Illinois, Montana, Alaska and Ohio, visiting many parks and historical sites.

He was never married but had numerous nephews and nieces that he loved and cared for.

He loved to camp, swim, and relax in the surrounding areas of Boundary County with family and friends during the summer.

In 2013, he accepted his nomination for a position on the Kootenai Tribal Council as a leader. He served one year of a four-year-term.

He was preceded in death by four other siblings.

Louie is survived by his parents, Ron and Margaret Abraham, sisters Rose Abraham and Clara Dunnington, and his brother Paul Abraham, numerous aunties and cousins from the United states and Canada and many friends.

He will be missed greatly by all his family and friends as he leaves behind loving and happy memories.
