Thrivent to give away food on Oct. 8

BONNERS FERRY — The Boundary County Thrivent chapter and Trinity Lutheran Church will be hosting a free food distribution day Oct. 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot of Trinity Lutheran Church, 6784 Cody St. in Bonners Ferry.

Free produce, nutritious perishable products and other groceries will be available for all families in need of food assistance. The event will be held rain or shine, and is open to the public, with no appointment or documentation needed.
