Robert Andrew Kenz Sr.

Went home to be with his Lord Jesus, November 5, 2015 at the age of 65 years old surrounded by family in Monrovia, California.

A burial at the Grandview Cemetery will take place on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 10:00 am.

There will be a memorial for Bob at Mountain Springs Church, Bonners Ferry at 12:00 pm on Saturday the 5th with fellowship and refreshments to follow.

Bob was born on September 6, 1950 in Youngstown, Ohio to Raymond and Wilma Kenz.  Bob was the oldest of 9 children; Dave, Jim, Patty, Anita, Raymond, Mary, Sue and Carol.  He grew up in Arcadia, California and remained in the area until he moved to Naples, Idaho in 1998.  He followed in the footsteps of his family as a third generation Fire Sprinkler Contractor.  

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Christy Kenz and four children; Bobby and his wife Katherine, Tracie and her husband Nick Nichols, Amy and her husband Emmanuel Astorga, Joe and his wife Karen Kenz.  

He has eighteen grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way. 

Bob’s Christian faith and his love for his Savior was the cornerstone of his life.  He loved to teach God’s Word which he did faithfully at his home Bible study for many years.  His ministry also included leading worship for adults and children for over 32 years.  

One of his favorite scriptures has always been Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Kenz and grandson Joseph Kenz.
