The Boundary County Sheriff's Office is conducting an investigation in the missing person's case of Michael Rocha. Rocha, 58, has been missing since Nov. 8. He is not a permanent resident of Boundary County, but was staying with different friends in the area. The last contact the BCSO had with Rocha was when deputies responded to a call for assistance by a relative of Rocha. Ambulance and police responded, but Rocha declined any assistance and later disappeared. The city has since then started an investigation trying to find previous contacts and friends. A forensic team was dispatched at a residence in the Deep Creek Loop and Moravia Road area looking for evidence. The case is still active; deputies are following up on clues found. Rocha is also currently listed on the Idaho State Police endangered records, people who are missing under circumstances indicating that his or her physical safety is in danger.

"We're just trying to find him," said Chief Deputy Rich Stephens. If anyone has any information about Rocha, please contact the Sheriff's Office at 208-267-3151.
