Terry Ann Paulus, 93

| February 12, 2015 8:37 AM

Terry Ann Paulus, 93, went home to be with her Lord Jesus on January 30, 2015, at the Boundary Community Hospital in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. A celebration of life will be held at the Mountain Springs Church on Feb. 22 at 3 p.m.

She was born on Dec. 22, 1921, in Rochester, N.Y., and was married on Jan. 18, 1941, to John L. Paulus, (deceased).

She is survived by four children: Gregg, Jim, Christy Paulus Kenz, John; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and one son, Danny.

A homemaker raising a family in Southern California in the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, Terry was also a former resident of Lake Arrowhead, Calif., where she owned and operated a health food store, Mountain Nutrition, during the 1970s and 1980s.

After moving to the Boundary County Restorium in 2012, Terry repeatedly expressed her love for her fellow residents and the caring staff. The spruce tree in the patio, which she could see out her bedroom window, was a favorite.

Terry was a loving mother and grandmother to her large family. Her Christian faith and her love for her Savior, was also the cornerstone in the saving faith of many of her children and grandchildren. Not a day would go by that she would say that she couldn’t wait to be home with the Lord, and now she is with Him!!

The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff of the Boundary County Hospital and Extended Care Facility for the tender care provided in Terry’s last days.
