Mandatory drug testing begins

| January 30, 2015 8:00 AM

BONNERS FERRY — Mandatory drug testing for Boundary County student athletes begins this Friday. At 9 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 30, all student athletes will have an opportunity to be tested by an independent company for $15.

Student athletes grades 7 through 12 will have to have proof of taking and passing a drug test in order to participate in spring sports.

The testing will take place at BFHS.

They can also test at their own independent clinic or doctor’s office but they have to bring in the results.
