Roric William Davis-Perez

| July 30, 2015 10:45 AM

Roric William Davis-Perez, fondly called “Rory” by his family, was born July 21, at 7:53 am. Delivered into the loving arms of his mother, Talitha Davis, with the tender care and help of numerous staff at Pullman Regional Hospital.

Fighting strong and defying many overwhelming odds, Rory blessed our family for an irreplaceable 2 days and 12 minutes. Flying away peacefully into the arms of God on July 23, at 8:05 am.

A special memorial will be held on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Davis home located at 3611 Hwy. 95 S., Moscow, ID.

Rory left footprints on numerous hearts. His legacy is carried on through the lives of his parents, Talitha J. Davis and Jake A. Perez, grandparents, Jonathan and Christa Davis, Connie Perez, and Paul Perez, as well as great grandparents, Janet and Perry Davis and Audrey Schenck.

Rory was also treasured by loving aunts and uncles: Bethany and Paul Hanes, Aaron Davis, Brandi Ward, Gabriel Davis, and Paul Perez, Jr. Rory was also held dear by many great aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. Cradling Rory in heaven are his loving great grandparents, Ladd and Marilyn Mitchell, Alexander and Joyce Perez, and Clifton Schenck.

You would also find his puppy Loki, laying faithfully by his side, protecting him until the day his boy’s mommy comes home.

Memorials in honor of Rory can be made to: Wish Medical Center (a crisis pregnancy center dedicated to encourage individuals to choose life and physically support their decision); anencephaly.info (devoted to funding research on the prevention of Anencephaly); or Pullman Regional Hospital/etsy.com/shop/Roryzo in care of “Rory’s Trunk” (care packages for families with terminal babies). Special thanks to the medical staff at Pullman Regional Hospital who cared for not only Rory and Talitha, but the entire family; helping us through our difficult time.
