Jerry Alan Snyder

Jerry Alan Snyder passed away on May 21, 2015, from congestive heart failure at the Kootenai Health ICU in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Services were held at the Bonners Ferry Seventh Day Adventist Church at 4 p.m. on May 30.

He is survived by his father David Alan Snyder; mother Marjorie Porter Campbell and his brothers Michael Donald Snyder, Timothy Eugene Snyder, Jeffrey David Snyder and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins,

He was born March 27, 1959, in Easton Hospital, Wilson Borough, Northampton County, Penn., to David Alan and Marjorie Porter Campbell Snyder. They moved to Pasadena, Calif., in 1962 where Marjorie’s parents resided. His family settled in Lancaster, Calif., where Jerry attended school and graduated from Antelope Valley High School. In school he played ice hockey as a goalie and also participated in Little League Baseball and was JV Runner of the Year in high school.

After high school he went to work for various golf courses in Coachella Valley, Calif., as a landscape gardener. He moved to Bonners Ferry in 2012. He resided in Naples, Idaho, with his father. Jerry was a Seventh Day Adventist Christian believer and attended church regularly.
