16th Car Show set for Saturday

BONNERS FERRY — Bonners Ferry’s signature car show event, the Borders 3 Jamboree will take place this Saturday, June 6 in downtown Bonners Ferry.
More than 200 classic cars, pickups, ratrods and motorcycles are expected to show up from Idaho, Montana, Washington, Canada and beyond. Main Street will be filled starting at 8 a.m., with overflow on Arizona and Bonner streets.
There will be music, food and fun for the whole family, including a hula-hoop and limbo contest for the kids.
The unique Rolling Awards Show will highlight the day, with the lovely ladies of Distinguished Young Women presenting the trophies. Proceeds from the event go to support local charities.
The pre-show cruise will take place Friday evening at 5:30 p.m. Anyone with a classic car is invited to meet at the city parking lot for instructions. Both the cruise and show are open to everyone.
