Laura Solt, 48

Laura Solt, 48, passed away on March 9, 2015, at Kootenai Health in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.

Services for Laura will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015, at 10 a.m. at the Kootenai Valley Mennonite Church.

Laura was born in Auburn, Calif., on Jan. 15, 1967. She moved to Bonners Ferry and attended Valley View elementary, and graduated from Bonners Ferry High School in 1985.

She married the love of her life John Solt on June 15, 1985. John and Laura moved to Colorado for two years where they welcomed their daughter, Casey, in February 1987, shortly after they returned back home to Bonners Ferry. In December 1989 they welcomed their son, Jeremiah.

Laura enjoyed outdoor activities including gardening, softball, skiing, hunting, and cheering on her children in their extracurricular activities. Laura brought great joy to her family and friends. She will always be loved and greatly missed.

She is survived by husband John; two children, Casey and Jeremiah; daughter-in-law Brenda; grandchildren Gracie and Leighton; father David Vose; brothers John, Robert, and Dennis Bergem, and Dave Vose; and her aunt, Micky; sisters in-law Kathie, Julie and Annie; brothers-in-law Dick, Hank and David’ and countless nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her mother, Joyce McConaughey Walsh; stepfather Robert “Bob” Walsh, father-in-law Jim Solt; and mother-in-law Eleanor ‘Ellie’ Solt.
