The BFHS boys soccer team defeated Priest River 4-to-2 during District Playoffs on Oct. 13. The Badgers were seeded second and played the third seeded team. The score at halftime was 1-to1 with Bonners Ferry playing evenly against Priest River, before finally dominating in the second half.

"Second half we fell back into our groove and played more like we should and could," said Coach Wayne Wilkerson, "I was pleased with our teamwork and determination in the second half. The senior and junior players made a real difference."

The Badgers will be playing St Maries on Thursday, following St. Maries's victory against Timberlake. St. Maries was the fourth seeded team.

Junior Daniel Strueber scored twice and junior Elijah Price and sophomore Raul Fernandez each scored one.

"We should be ready for St. Maries on Thursday," said Coach Willkerson, "They will be energized, though, after their upset over Timberlake."
