School District calls for bids

BONNERS FERRY — The Boundary County School District Board of Trustees is calling for bids on reroofing Valley View and Mt. Hall Elementary schools. The former project includes removal of two skylights.

The required bid forms are available from the District 101 administration office, 7188 Oak St. from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday until the day of bid opening. Maintenance supervisor Bob Overman can answer any questions at 208-290-1024. Contractors should submit their objections to specifications, if any, in writing by Friday, Aug. 26.

BCSD will accept bids until 2 p.m.Wednesday, Sept. 7. At that time, officials will open them and read them out loud at the District 101 office, 7188 Oak St. Late bids will not be consisered. Officials expect the contract to be awarded on or about Sept. 19.

Bidders may not withdraw their bids after the hour set for bid opening nor before the award of the contract, unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding 30 days.

The Board of Trustees of BCSD reserves the right to accept or reject or to select any portion of any or all bids, to waive any technicality and to be the sole judge of the suitability for the best interests of the district.
