14 of Bonners Ferry's finest named All-League this football season

Here is a list of BFHS football players who made the All-Intermountain League Team:

All-IML Offense, first team:

Offensive line: Ethan Erickson*

Running back: Nick Sabin*

Wide Receiver: Issac Lavala*

Punter: Caleb Harrington

All-IML Offense, second team:

Offensive line: Ronney Craig, Carson Umphenour, Kendall Stone

Quarterback: Kaleb Stockton

All-IML Defense, first team:

Defensive line: Payton Albrecht

Linebacker: Matt Varelman*

Defensive back: Evan Wasmere

All-IML Defense, second team:

Defensive End: Chris Sabin

Linebackers: Anthony Minor and Christian Dowell

*Erickson was also named Lineman of the Year by the Intermountain League.

*A few members of the Badgers varsity football team received individual awards during a banquet that took place at Boundary County Middle School on Nov. 8, when players voted for the Overall MVP, Offensive MVP and Defensive MVP. Varelman was named Defensive MVP, Lavala was named Offensive MVP and Sabin was named Overall MVP for the 2016 season.
