Mary Elizabeth Pitts Thornbrug

Mary Elizabeth Pitts Thornbrug was taken home to heaven on Dec. 24, 2015. 

Memorial services were held on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, at 1 p.m. in the Bridgeway Assembley of God Church near Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Mary was born in Coffeyville, Kan., on Sept. 6, 1973, but has called Bonners Ferry home for the last 10 years.

She has worked for Akins Harvest Foods for the last two years.

She is survived by her husband Ken Thorn-brugh; a daughter, Heather Mercedes Hopkins Bowers; her brothers, Danny, Mark, Michael, and Chris; and her parents Sharon and Harold Coons; as well as many family members and friends.

Mary was a loving, caring, understanding, hard-working person, who made a positive difference in many family, friends and co-workers lives. She will be missed by many and left us too soon.
