Christopher Jacob “C.J.” Erickson

| July 7, 2016 1:00 AM

Christopher Jacob “C.J.” Erickson, our beloved Son, Brother, Grandson, Nephew and Cousin was taken up to God’s warm embrace on June 26th, 2016. Memorial services were held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the Becker Auditorium in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

C.J. was born in Hamilton Montana on February 21, 1991 to Carl Chris Erickson and Lisa Rae Cook.

C.J. was a hard working, fun loving, kind, gentle and witty young man loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

His laugh and smile were two of the most precious things that we will all hold on to, as they were truly two of his best attributes. He was always the first one to offer a helping hand to anyone in need.

C.J. spent most of his young life in Bonners Ferry Idaho where he made life long friends and countless memories, and although his time may have been short he left a mark on so many hearts in the community and everywhere he went.

He graduated from Bonners Ferry High School in 2010 and soon after made the move to Coeur d’ Alene where he worked for Dockside in the Resort Hotel.

It was there that he developed a love for the Coeur d’ Alene area and would always refer to Northern Idaho as “home”.

C.J. later worked for Modern Glass as a glass fitter but found his true passion and career of choice in being a lineman. C.J. poured his heart into everything he did, including his job and although his passion for being a lineman kept him far from home where he was placed in North Dakota, Texas and Florida he never forgot where his roots were planted.

He is survived by his mother Lisa Cook, his father Chris Erickson, his sister and best friend Mikki Erickson, his grandparents Gary and Julie Cook and Don and Gayle Alexendar and the rest of his extended family.
