Library offers internship

The Boundary County Library is offering a unique paid internship for qualified youth, ages 16-18, for the 2016-2017 school year.

The internship provides part-time employment (12 to 15 hours per week) during the school year and as needed during school vacations. Library interns work evening shifts Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

Candidates must provide a cover letter, resume, three letters of reference and a personal essay defining individual strengths and skills as well as learning goals expected to be achieved through participation in this work-study program. Applications will be accepted through Aug. 5. The internship award will be announced on Aug. 19 and training will begin as soon as the position is filled.
