Library program features comedy magic at fairgrounds

This summer, the library kicks off iits summer reading program with a comedy magic show followed by more fun, games and prizes at the Boundary County Fairgrounds. Back by popular demand is the zany comedy magic of Bonners Ferry resident magician, Dave the Magic Man.

North Idaho resident, prestidigitator and professional magician, Dave the Magic Man, specializes in children's and family entertainment, education, comedy and magic. With his witty humor, silly and corny clean puns, skits, props, one-liners and amazing comedy magic, Dave has delighted audiences nationwide for over 25 years at schools, libraries, museums, banquets, malls, corporations, comedy clubs, farmer's markets and fairs. He's also been featured on television's magic special, "The Magic Happening", and has co-authored two books on magic.

Dave the Magic Man will also be bringing his amazing balloon creations and his magical bag of tricks to The Festival at Sandpoint on Sunday, Aug. 7, at 2:30 p.m. for the Family Concert.The theme of this year's summer reading program is, "On your mark, Get set, READ!", and will be held on Wednesday, July 27, at the pavilion of the Boundary County Fairgrounds. Showtime begins at 1 p.m. sharp. Those arriving late are subject to be turned into rabbits and frogs!
