Pile of Rocks?
What appears to be just a pile of rocks, really isn’t.
These can be found all around the county. Do you know what this is and how it is used? If you have an answer, please email doyouremember@meadowcrk.com. If you would like to stay anonymous, just let us know.
Last week we shared a picture of Monk Shelman and Slim Allured with some pretty big fish. Grace Schuon Leidt was the only one who could identify these men. The picture was taken in 1957.
Slim and his wife Lucy opened the Allured Sport Shop in downtown Bonners Ferry in 1941. It would be open for 21 years. Both Slim and Lucy were known for their ability to tie fishing flies which were sent all over the United States.
