When Jeff Brubaker started Pro X Home Center out of his own personal shop in 2003 followed by the first store behind Truss Tek in 2005 even he had no idea how big it would become, or how fast it would grow.

“The support from the local community and beyond has really been tremendous” Brubaker says.

“We have tried over the years to listen to our customers and bring in products they want, and have continued to expand our vision of what we eventually want our store to be.”

And with a brand new 12000 square foot facility built within walking distance of the old one, Brubaker’s vision has finally come to be a reality.

Not only a full service building supply store, Pro X also has everything for inside the home as well, from plumbing to smoke detectors, plus cleaning supplies, garden items, and decor; just to name a fraction of the many items currently on the shelves. And with the old store now vacant, Jeff and crew will be preparing to convert the newly empty space into a showroom for flooring, cabinets, appliances, lighting, and stoves.

“We are very exited about this” says Brubaker.

“We have had all of these items available for some time, but have not had the space to do the products justice until now.”

Current time frame for completion of the space is set for early to mid-summer.

And with the expansion has come 4 new jobs, with possibly more in the future as the business continues to grow.

Grand Opening Ceremonies for the new store are set for April 1st at 8:00 a.m. with the celebration to continue to April 2nd and on into the month.

In store prizes and giveaways will be offered, plus demos from top name products.

A lunch booth will be set up for the Grand Opening, with $1.50 hot dogs or burgers, plus chips and a drink included.

All proceeds for the lunch will go to Jungle Breezes Youth Ministries. Ceremonies will continue the next weekend as well, and a new line of ECHO chainsaws and lawn care power tools will be unveiled, with company representatives to demo their products.

Expert chain saw carver Ryan Anderson will also be on hand, and will give away the sculpture he creates on-site.

We really want to convey our exitement and share this opening with the whole community, and a one day ceremony just didn’t seem to be enough” laughs Brubaker.

“With God’s blessing and continued support from our local community and beyond we hope to prosper for many more years to come.”
