Celebrate Mother’s Day with a concert at the Pearl Theater by the Bonners Ferry Community Orchestra. Directed by Lillie Albertson, the orchestra will be playing a variety of light springtime tunes to lift your spirit and will be enjoyed by audience members of all ages. The Pearl Cafe will offer sweet and savory fare, so treat mom to a meal and a lovely afternoon of music! Sunday, May 8th at 3pm. Cafe/doors open at 2pm.

The second concert features Swinging On A Star, the Bonners Ferry Children’s Choir on Tuesday, May 10th at 7pm. Cafe/doors open at 6pm.

This fourteen member choir is presenting its spring concert in a fun filled, lively performance including several Broadway favorites, and select pieces from other musicals. The children have designed their own costumes and several older choir members have been instrumental in mentoring their classmates’ musical growth.

Director Autumn Mackert, is proud to announce that the group has just returned from a successful benefit performance at The Jacklin Arts and Culture Center in Post Falls, ID. The choir sang and danced to delight attendees with a selection of traditional Renaissance rounds and a traditional English Morris dance.

The Pearl Theater, located at 7160 Ash Street, is a nonprofit organization founded in 2012 to foster the performing arts throughout Boundary County.

It is supported by membership, volunteers, community participation and grant funding.
