Local man charged with numerous felonies April 28
THURSDAY-April 28, BCSO responded to the report of a female runaway.
She was located with Shane A. Kraly, born 1985, in a local business parking lot. Kraly, who falsely identified himself to authorities is currently on parole; Nov. 3, 2014, convicted Felony-Contraband in Correctional Facility; Sept. 5, 2014, convicted Felony-attempted possession of controlled substance; Dec. 8, 2011, convicted Felony-harassment of witness and Dec. 8, convicted Felony-harassment of witness.
According to BCSO Chief Deputy Stephens, “We are actively investigating and interviewing with the victim. Also, with child interview specialists.”
Due to Kraly’s apprehensions and attempts to misdirect law enforcement, he was read his Miranda Rights.
K-9 narcotics team were called to assist and found a “Toy Story” type make-up pouch exactly like the victim had described. Inside it contained a syringe, small plastic bag with white colored crystalline substance, a spoon, Bic lighter, a small bag with white residue which is used to prepare, pack, store, ingest, inhale or introduce a controlled substance into the human body. The substance tested positive for methamphetamine.
The victim stated that they had been “shooting up” methamphetamine and that Kraly came to her residence without the permission of her parents. Kraly would allegedly load the syringes and inject into her body. They allegedly had intercourse numerous times. The victim’s exam at the hospital was consistent with syringe marks.
Kraly is currently being charged for Felony rape-female is 16-17-year-old and perpetrator is three years or more years older than female; Felony children-injury to child; Felony-controlled substance-possession of; Misdemeanor-drug paraphernalia-use or possess with intent to use and Felony-enhancement-persistent violator.
Kraly is currently being held on $100,000.00 bond.
