Pat Black

Memorial services for Pat Black are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, May 6th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 304 S. Adams Road, Spokane Valley.

Interment service for John and Pat Black will be held at 12 noon, Saturday May 7th at Grandview Cemetery, Bonners Ferry. A reception will follow at the Chic N Chop meeting room located on Hwy 95, in Bonners Ferry. The family requests that Memorial Contributions in their memory be given to the St. Ann’s Catholic Church Re-building fund, 6712 El Paso St., Bonners Ferry, ID 83805 or the charity of choice.

John and Pat moved to Bonners Ferry in 1945 and were active participants in the community they loved until health needs forced a move to the Spokane Valley. John served as station manager for the Great Northern and Burlington Northern Railway.

Pat worked at Taft’s Variety, Bonners Ferry Herald, Bank of Idaho and as secretary at Bonners Ferry High School.
