I had the pleasure of meeting Glenn Rohrer, who is running for the Idaho Senate seat in Legislative District 1, at the candidate forum in Bonners Ferry this month and want to say how much I appreciate his common-sense, conservative stance. It’s refreshing to hear someone who gives you a straight, honest answer to our questions.

We’re so tired of mealy-mouthed explanations or “facts” we know to be flat-out false. I am especially turned off by our incumbent senator, who works for a lobbying firm but sees no conflict of interest in voting for the interest of that firm’s clients; who takes many thousands of dollars from those clients in campaign contributions but would have us believe that it doesn’t affect her votes.

Please, this time around, vote the 20-year incumbent out of office. It’s high time for her to go. Vote for Glenn Rohrer for Idaho State Senate.
