I would like to first take a moment to thank Mr. Tim Gering for his work at BFHS over the last 3 years. Once a Badger, always a Badger Tim! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your work with our students and care for our community.

To find a replacement for that position the district looked far and wide and held interviews for four candidates Friday. The candidates were interviewed by two different committees that day. The morning committee was one consisting of staff from the building and represented a cross section of departments. The afternoon committee consisted of admin members as well as a few parents and community members.

All four candidates were strong and the interview team had a tough decision to make when the day was done.

Using their recommendation the Superintendent made his recommendation. He and I spoke today and felt if was in the best interest of our staff to let you know who will be joining our team next year. As that is the case I will let you know that the person who will be joining the administration team for Boundary County School District next year will be Mr. Kevin Dinning.

Thank you to everyone who helped with the process and for the work all of you are doing during this final stretch of our 2015-2016 school year. The sun is shining and the kids are just a bit more hyper so they sure want to make it a bit more trying. You all have my admiration and my thanks.
