Lady's golf league opens 2016 season

The Mirror Lake Ladies Golf league opened the 2016 season on Tuesday May 1st and Wednesday May 2nd. The league will now consist of two days each week with play on Tuesday evenings at 5 pm and Wednesday mornings at 9 am. Golfers are welcome to play either or both days so come join the fun!

This past week on Tuesday evening play Julie Williams had the low gross score of 40 and Elaine Morgan was low net with a score of 40. On Wednesday morning play Karen English had low gross with a score of 50.

The game of the day for both days was least number of putts with Karen English and Julie Williams tying with 16 putts on Tuesday evening and Therese Helmer and Ann Bonar also tying with 16 putts on Wednesday morning. Julie Williams had two birdies on holes #8 & #9 Tuesday evening and Therese Helmer had a birdie on hole #2 on Wednesday morning.

Both Carrie Figgins and Etta Mae Schnuerle had chip -ins on Wednesday morning.

Mirror Lake Ladies Golf meet every Tuesday evening at 5:00 pm and Wednesday morning at 9:00 am for 9 holes of golf. New members are always welcome!
