Barbara E. Lindemann Memorial Service
Memorial Service for Barbara E. Lindemann will be held on Saturday, May 28th at 10:00 a.m. at the Mt. Hall Community Church. Barb was born 3/25/1939 in Aurora, IL and went to be with the Lord 2/20/2016.
Barbara E. Lindemann arrived in heaven Saturday, February 20th, 2016 at 3:00 a.m. She fought a courageous battle with cancer which never defeated her positive attitude and sweet spirit. She died at her home in Bonners Ferry with her husband, Phil, at her side.
Barb was born to Bill and Louella Gley in Aurora, IL on March 25, 1939. She spent most of her young life in Aurora and after graduating high school, took a job as a long distance telephone operator.
She met her future husband, Phil, at Midway Airport in Chicago, where Phil and her brother Bill were catching a flight to go on active duty with the Navy. When active duty was done, Phil returned to IL, courted Barb for about a year, and was blessed when she said she would marry him. On September 17th, 1960 they were married in Aurora, IL. They moved to Seattle and raised their family in Washington State. They had a daughter Janet and son Glenn.
Barb enjoyed serving the Lord and usually ended up as the church “bookie” at most of the churches she attended over the years. She enjoyed being a members of the Nash car club and liked to go for drives in the big red and white 54 Nash Ambassador hardtop that Phil and she owned for over 30 years.
She leaves behind a husband, Phil, of 55 years; daughter, Janet Yusi; son Glenn Lindemann; Granddaughter, Veronica Lindemann; three grandsons, Darin Yusi, Michael Yusi, and Justin Yusin; two great grandsons and special friend “Aslan” the neighbors cat.
There will be no services at this time but a Memorial service will be held this spring at the Mt. Hall Community church to honor her life.
