The Pearl welcomes Bluestreak to the stage this Saturday, Nov. 5

| November 3, 2016 1:00 AM

It’s that time of year again...The Pearl Theater has introduced their fall and winter line-up of incredible music: blues, bluegrass, and indie performers with some of the best local talent. Please join us this Saturday as we welcome Bluestreak to our stage.

Formed in the spring of 2006 following the breakup of their original band, Columbia, five veteran musicians re-formed to create Bluestreak, a three-part vocal harmony supported by bluegrass instrumentation. The band brings out the best of Terry Ludiker on the fiddle, Bob Asbury on five-string, Steve Bauer on mandolin, Dave Hackworth on standup bass, and Doug Bond on guitar and lead vocals. The result is a crowd-pleasing, creative bend to a decidedly traditional bluegrass sound.

Bluestreak delivers the “high-lonesome” harmonies and instrumental chops of all great blues bands, backed by an impressive three decades of performing experience, all in one entertaining bundle! Come on down to The Pearl and get in the spirit of the bluegrass season with five incredible musicians just ten days before we welcome The Shook Twins.

The Pearl Theater is a non-profit organization, dedicated to fostering the performing arts throughout Boundary County. For more information or for membership, please call (208)610-2846 or email: info@thepearltheater.org
