Re: Do You Remember

The hospital staff have been curious about the device shown in the Do You Remember a couple weeks ago.

Turns out that it is actually the precursor to the modern C-Arm portable X-Ray Machine that we’ll be getting with the Levy dollars.

Here’s how it was described to me — it’s an ortho traction device that was used to set bones. You used the xray part to line up the bones to be set and then they would put on the cast.

In those days the bone setting was done in Radiology.
