4-H Friday Friends back in action

| October 13, 2016 1:00 AM

Another school year is underway and 4-H Friday Friends is back in action, too.

The group is located at Bonners Ferry Middle School, and meets every Friday during the school year except during holidays. It is there from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There is open enrollment so you can participate every Friday or any Friday you choose for grades kindergarten through sixth-grade and the cost is only $12 a day with a sliding scale based on income.

It’s as easy as same-day registration, and then let the fun begin. 4-H Friday Friends provides two healthy snacks and students bring their own lunch. 4-H Friday Friends features a broad spectrum of activities, crafts and experiments that incorporate hands on learning in science, math, history and our community.

In addition, the group welcomes guest visitors who share new experiences and learning.
